Local Artist Completes Vibrant New Mural at Peak Academy of Dance

Last month, I completed my largest mural yet at Peak Academy of Dance in Conifer! The mural fills their aerial dance studio, Studio D, with an active octopus swirling among shimmering bubbles. The Lyra (hoops) became part of the scene, transformed into luminous orbs. A playful reflection of the movement and imagination that fills their space.

Working with the team at Peak Academy of Dance was an absolute delight. They were fabulous clients who trusted me with their vision and gave me the creative freedom to make something truly special.

One of the highlights of this project was having my niece join me all the way from Kentucky. I don’t think of her as an assistant, but as a partner. She brought so much heart and creativity to the process, and I loved sharing this experience with her.

Creating this mural was such a fulfilling experience, and I’m so proud to have contributed something colorful and full of life to our community. If you visit Peak Academy of Dance, I hope the octopus brings a smile to your face!
