WINC (Women in Construction) has finalized plans for our upcoming Jazzercise flooring project, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us transform the space! Their floor has failed and the company is out of business, so the warranty is of no use. We have worked with Home Depot and they DONATED all the flooring!
The project will take place Friday, July 31 through Sunday, August 2:
- Friday, July 31 | 4:00–8:00 PM
Remove the existing flooring and prepare the space. - Saturday, August 1 | 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Install approximately 2,100 square feet of new flooring. - Sunday, August 2 | 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Install trim, complete finishing touches and clean the space.
Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome. We especially need volunteers with flooring or finish-carpentry experience, but there will be plenty of ways for everyone to contribute. We are also seeking donated lunches for the crews and a 100 pound floor roller for Saturday’s installation.
