WINC Volunteer Clean Up Days

WINC is kicking off our 2026 Volunteer Construction Projects with two Clean-Up Days in Pine—and this one really matters. 

Jon, 81, has called Pine home since the late ’70s, and we’re coming together to help him stay there. We’ve worked with the county to stop fines, and now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and clean up the exterior.

Here’s what we’re tackling:
• Taking down 3 damaged greenhouse/shelters  
• Hauling away 1 trailer  
• Removing 1 large tree (experienced chainsaw help needed here!)  
• Clearing out lots of debris into dumpsters  

This is just Part 1 of a much bigger project. Next up: a new roof, new stove/heater, interior clean-out, deck repairs, and a special surprise project for Jon.

All ages are welcome—bring your energy! We also need help with food and drinks for volunteers. Don’t forget gloves and sunscreen.
