Senior Fall Prevention Fair
Falls are the leading cause of injury-related emergency department visits for older adults. That's why St. Anthony Hospital and Seniors' Resource Center are teaming up to raise awareness and educate older adults on falls risks. Screening & Educational information provided by health care professionals include:
- Home safety display & fall prevention
- Balance assessments
- Nutrition & healthy eating
- Blood pressure checks & stroke awareness
- Education on medications that may put you more at risk for a fall
- Aging & sleep disorders
- Mental health guidance & assessments
- Music therapy
- Plus chair massages, refreshments and great prizes!
