About Us

Since 1992, Mountain Area Land Trust (MALT) has been the leading voice for land and water conservation along Colorado’s Front Range communities, serving a 4,830 square mile service area in Jefferson, Clear Creek, Park, Gilpin, Boulder and Teller counties.

Our mission is to save natural areas, wildlife habitat, streams and rivers, working ranches and historic lands for the benefit of the community and as a legacy for future generations.
