About Us

The Evergreen Naturalists Audubon Society, Inc. (Evergreen Audubon) was founded in 1968 and has been in existence since that time. Our mission is conserve wildlife and natural ecosystems, provide citizen science experiences, and inspire and educate our community to benefit people and diversity. We do this through various citizen science and research programs as well as extensive educational offerings.

The Evergreen Nature Center houses exhibits about the ecosystems found in the Bear Creek watershed. Many of the exhibits are interactive and fun for all ages. You can learn all about the wildlife in our area.

We also offer numerous educational programs for children and adults. School and scout groups can schedule programs, children can participate in our after school program or summer day camps, and adults can attend our many guided bird walks, monthly presentations, and other workshops all about conservation and the wildlife of our region.
