About the Role:
Resilience1220 is seeking a passionate and organized Peer Leadership Coordinator to support a youth-led program focused on mental health awareness, substance use prevention, and resilience. This role works directly with middle and high school students to build leadership skills and support youth-led advocacy across three counties. This position is supervised by the Director of Programs and plays a key role in developing a program that transitions from adult-led to youth-led over time.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate monthly peer leadership meetings across multiple schools

Support youth in developing leadership, communication, and advocacy skills

Coordinate and support student-led mental health campaigns and outreach events

Build relationships with schools and community partners

Track attendance, outcomes, and program data

Support grant reporting and program alignment under Director guidance
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (social work, psychology, public health, education, or related field)

Experience working with youth (group facilitation or leadership development preferred)

Passion for youth mental health, prevention, and community connection

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Flexibility and ability to travel to 3 counties on a regular basis
Additional Details:
$250 annual professional development stipend after 6 months of employment

Location: Gilpin, Clear Creek & Jefferson Counties, CO
Pay: $30/hour. Up to 25 hours/month
