Peer Leadership Coordinator (Part-Time) for Resilience1220

About the Role:

Resilience1220 is seeking a passionate and organized Peer Leadership Coordinator to support a youth-led program focused on mental health awareness, substance use prevention, and resilience. This role works directly with middle and high school students to build leadership skills and support youth-led advocacy across three counties. This position is supervised by the Director of Programs and plays a key role in developing a program that transitions from adult-led to youth-led over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate monthly peer leadership meetings across multiple schools

  • Support youth in developing leadership, communication, and advocacy skills

  • Coordinate and support student-led mental health campaigns and outreach events

  • Build relationships with schools and community partners

  • Track attendance, outcomes, and program data

  • Support grant reporting and program alignment under Director guidance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (social work, psychology, public health, education, or related field)

  • Experience working with youth (group facilitation or leadership development preferred)

  • Passion for youth mental health, prevention, and community connection

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Flexibility and ability to travel to 3 counties on a regular basis

Additional Details:

$250 annual professional development stipend after 6 months of employment

Flexible, part-time schedule
Location: Gilpin, Clear Creek & Jefferson Counties, CO

Pay: $30/hour. Up to 25 hours/month
