The Peak Academy of Dance Talent Groups present “Hard Knock Life”.
Set during the Great Depression in 1933 New York City, the story follows eleven-year-old Annie, an optimistic orphan determined to find her parents who abandoned her at the orphanage. She faces challenges from the cruel orphanage keeper, Miss Hannigan, but eventually finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and her dog Sandy. The show combines themes of hope, resilience, and the search for belonging, with Annie’s optimism serving as the heart of the story.
