Pet Food Giveaway

Dr. Jeff Young, "The Rocky Mountain Vet," and his team at Planned Pethood International/Intermountain Humane Society will be hosting a pet food giveaway on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They will be distributing food for both dogs and cats in their parking lot located at 11825 US Highway 285. ( Planned Pethood is the turquoise and purple Victorian building located just west of the RTD Park & Ride)

The purpose of this giveaway is to help dog and cat owners in the Conifer, Bailey, Pine, and surrounding mountain communities who could use some help feeding their pets due to the high cost of pet food (and everything else these days!). Only kibble will be distributed. There is no canned food. Each household will be allowed one bag of food per pet—no more than 4 bags per household.
