The Nature Link and Relational Rewilding will be joining forces to deliver an exciting three-part series of classes in different parts of our foothills ecosystem. We will be combining scientific observation and artistic skills in order to improve our nature journaling abilities. Each class will consist of a few drawing lessons, nature explorations, mindfulness invitations and individual time to practice journaling. We will also examine plants, observe wildlife, and use as many of our senses as we are able. Nature Journaling offers so many benefits including improving observational skills, increasing awareness, offering opportunities to de-stress, improving plant and animal identification, and deepening our connection to the natural world. Throughout these three-hour classes we will spend time exercising our bodies, minds and senses.
These classes are intended for adults, however, children with a deep interest in nature journaling who are accompanied by an adult are more than welcome to join. These three classes build upon one another, but can be taken individually if you are unable make it to all three.
As a precaution for COVID-19, we will be limiting registration to 8 participants, so register early! Masks and social distancing will be required for the duration of each class. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding the program. Contact: Dina Baker at firstname.lastname@example.org or 847-899-3462.
