SUMMER STEAM CAMP - NATURE'S MEDICINE (Ages 8+)
Plants are the foundation of our survival, as a food source for us and for the animals we can eat, and as medicines to reduce pain, calm nerves, reduce inflammation, soothe a sunburn, and much more. Some plants can also cause severe health issues to humans and our pets. Campers build a medicinal plant book, include pictures or pressed specimens, identify their common and scientific names and their uses to heal or harm. At the end of the week, they get to keep their book, and add to it from home.

The morning class that is offered with this class is Painting & Drawing from 8-12 if you are looking for a full-day camp.

Meet us in our cute, new classroom as early as 12:30. Be sure to pack a snack and water. If you signed up for a full-day camp, be sure to also bring a lunch!
Fees/Admission
$190 / week for this half-day camp which includes all materials and take-home project.
