The twang and tunes of bluegrass music will sound through the pines in beautiful Heritage Grove on Saturday, August 2, 2014! Spurs of the Moment band will bring more than 25 years of Bluegrass heritage to this delightful, free concert in the open air. Heritage Grove is located at 4208 S. Timbervale Dr., Evergreen CO 80439, next to Hiwan Homestead Museum. The band will play from 3 to 5:30 P.M. For the band members this will be a nostalgic concert because they played in Heritage Grove in the 1970s in a benefit concert to save the Grove from development. Spurs of the Moment has played in many prestigious venues, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. For more information contact Hiwan Homestead Museum at 720-497-7650. This concert is able to be presented free by Jefferson County Historical Society and Jefferson County Open Space because of sponsorship by 1st Bank, Tupper Briggs, Tupper's Team, Evergreen Downtown Business Association, Home Mortgage Alliance, and Evergreen National Bank.
