SUMMARY:September Bird Walk at Reynolds Park
DESCRIPTION:Bird Walks are offered on a monthly basis. Each season brings new species and new bird behavior. We will spend the morning looking for birds\, working on identification and enjoy time outdoors with fellow bird lovers. Birders of all levels of experience are invited to join our walks including children with an interest in birds (as long as they are accompanied by an adult!).\n\n\n\nOur September bird walk will take place in Reynolds Park Open Space. We will be exploring the varying habitats at this location and discovering the diversity of bird species and plant life from scrub oak to Douglas Fir & Ponderosa habitats. We will discuss the relationships between native plants\, birds\, insects and local wildlife. We'll be looking for Steller's Jays\, Mountain Chickadees\, all three nuthatch species\, multiple woodpecker species\, bluebirds\, and many more as we wind up our fall migration.
