DESCRIPTION:Cowgirls of all ages welcome! Cowboys are welcome too!\n\n\n\nJoin us for this afternoon tea celebrating women and girls! Perfect for celebrating Mother's Day with your favorite women!\n\nThis is a fundraiser for Mountain Peace Shelter and all proceeds will go to benefit survivors of domestic violence in our community!\n\nAlthough we are doing this event Mountain Style\, with all our Cowgirl and Mountain friends\, make no mistake  this is a full afternoon tea\, including many different delightful tasty treats! We're doing it up right in Cowgirl Chic\, so wear your best formal jeans\, hat and boots or other fine country dress!\n\nWe will have live music\, a special gift for every attendee and an inspirational guest speaker!\n\n\nDr. Marcie Chambers will be delivering an inspirational talk at the event:\n\nEmpowerment: Taking Control of Your Life\n\nDr. Chambers will be talking about specific "Tidbits" you can implement into your daily life to achieve a more happy\, free\, and productive existence. Learn how to respond to life with more consciousness and intention\, not just a knee jerk reaction. We will talk about the importance of forgiveness\, witnessing others without taking it personal\, being aware of the "stories we make up\," among other things.\n\nAbout Dr. Chambers:\n\nDr. Marcie Chambers achieved a PhD in Psychology from the University of Colorado in 1999. For the next few years\, she operated Lousiville Teen Counseling and taught Psychology at Metro State University and Regis University. Dr. Chambers opened The Rose House in 2008\, treating women with trauma\, mental health disorders and addiction. Dr. Chambers has presented at conferences across the nation over the past 10 years.
