DESCRIPTION:It's time to prepare for Wildfire Season! May 1st is Wildfire Community Preparedness Day: a national campaign that encourages people and organizations everywhere to come together on a single day to take action to raise awareness and reduce wildfire risks.\n\n\n\nTo honor this effort\, we will be proudly introducing our mobile educational fire truck that we've purchased and modified to help you learn more about what you and your family can do to get prepared. We'll have free materials on evacuation planning\, defensible space\, home hardening and more. Jeffcom911 will be joining us as well to share what they do and help you get signed up for CodeRED.\n\n\n\nJoin us from 8:30-11:30am at Elk Creek Fire Protection District Station 1\, 19933 Blackfoot Rd or from 1:30-4:30pm at Evergreen Fire Rescue\, 1802 Bergen Pkwy\, visit with your first responders\, and get your free Emergency Go Bag while supplies last.\n\n\n\nPlease invite your friends\, family and neighbors to attend as well!
