SUMMARY:2018 Evergreen Trail Racing Series #5: Fall EverGold 10-Miler
DESCRIPTION:The Fall EverGold Trail Race is a ten-mile out and back race that takes place at Lair O' the Bear Open Space Park in Idledale on Sat.\, Oct. 6 at 8 AM. Runners will meet at the main parking lot in Idledale\, just off of Highway 73. The course has runners taking the ascent up the trail first\, then turning around to enjoy the decent over the second half of the race. \n\n\n\nThe race is the final one in the 2018 Evergreen Trail Racing Series\, a five-race series of running events on mountainous terrain around scenic Evergreen and our mountain community presented by Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD). Distances range from a 5k to an epic half-marathon to the top of Bergen Peak (elevation 9\,708 feet)\, a climb of well over 2\,000 vertical feet.\n\n\n\nRunners will meet at the main parking lot of Lair O' the Bear Open Space Park in Idledale\, just off of Highway 73. This is a cup-free race\; please bring a full water bottle. \n\n\n\nRace registration is $35 in advance and $40 race day - or register for ALL 5 races for $140\, which means you get one race for FREE! Registration includes a pair of custom running socks.
