Upcoming opportunity to apply for a second PPP loan
As you may have heard, President Trump signed into law the $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill "Consolidated Appropriations Act" which provides $300 billion in support for small businesses and an opportunity to apply for a second PPP loan (or first loan if you missed the first round of PPP loans).
Guidance and regulations have not been issued yet and applications are not yet open, but should be the first week of January. Now is the time to gather the necessary documents for your bank so you are ready to roll on day 1. Contact your banker/ lender to see if they will be accepting applications. IF NOT, contact the Chamber so we can connect you to someone that will be accepting applications.
