Jefferson County Planning & Zoning is beginning a Regulation Amendment process (20-120143AM) pertaining to the Zoning Resolution (ZR) Section 37 (Floodplain Overlay District). The purpose of this regulation amendment is to update the Jefferson County Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) date from December 20, 2019 to January 15, 2021. Jefferson County is a National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) community and this revision is required to remain in good standing with the NFIP.
